Dear Customer,

The items in this store are the result of intensive research, carefully considered and placed here with quality and cost-effectiveness in mind.  That is why you don't find MREs (meals-ready-to-eat) or many other fancy "prepper" items.  For the money you are better off buying canned goods, dried beans and rice, and vitamins and nutritional supplements.  And what could be more fun than learning how to dehydrate and vacuum seal food so that it keeps for years?

You don't need a fancy camp stove, but you do need a rated sleeping bag, if the heat goes out and you live someplace where it gets bitter cold in winter.  You also need to know that running a camp stove indoors without adequate ventilation is a good way to asphyxiate.

What we have tried to do here is par down the vast topic of prepping in order to make it easily manageable for busy people, and to suggest only the basics.  We also sell products we wholeheartedly believe have been overlook by mainstream medicine for their longevity and wellness effects.

Live long.  Live healthy.  Live prepared.

This is the philosophy we bring to this online store.  If you can buy the same things cheaper somewhere else, go for it.  Our vision is of a Prepped Nation, which can immediately go into mutual assistance and cooperation mode if the SHTF.  If we are all prepared for anything, then we need not rely on the government to be competent.  We need not fear the "zombies," because if we are not prepared, the zombies are us.  Disaster preparedness is nothing more than another form of insurance against an unlikely event.  No one questions home fire insurance.  No one should question disaster preparedness.

Our larger vision is that of a balanced, sustainable society, with each generation planning for seven generations after it.  This is the Great Law of the Iroquois Nation.  All of our links are to eBay, with special attention to seller ratings and reputation.  Please read the product description carefully, so you know exactly what you are buying.  Most products are new but not all.

Many of us are rushed and frantic in our modern society on a day-to-day basis.  Who has time for prepping?  We hope to make being prepared for a disastrous event easier than ever.  You can be well-prepared for under $1000.  That is cheap for the peace of mind that you can feed and care for your family if the stores are suddenly all closed, and the delivery network of trucks that we take for granted is not running.  Remember, prepping is not about "doom and gloom."  It is merely the sensible philosophy of hoping for the best, and preparing for the worst.

Best of all, there is little downside to prepping.  At worst you will have a lot of food and supplements you can still eat, and a lot of extremely useful items.  Things like no-battery, hand-crank flashlights are always good to have.

We think disaster preparation and sustainability are intertwined, because when we think about prepping, we are thinking about how to live more simply, with less.  The petroleum-based economy takes a huge toll on the environment, unlike clean renewable energy like solar, which preppers learn how to use to heat and distill water, warm their homes, and cook with.  Finally, prepping is about community.  You could easily meet a future husband or wife at a prepper social!  Please enjoy browsing our store and come back soon - it is always evolving!
